Hamila terrace and coordinated transducer placement

A SIGNATURE AVASH PROJECT

Hamila Shopping Center

Sound among roses, light and glass

1,700 m² · 63 transducers · Food court & three terraces

1402 SH / Design & delivery

One experience, different acoustic settings

At Hamila, a high-ceilinged food court with polished floors and a glass-lined void opens onto three landscaped terraces. AVASH installed and commissioned 63 transducers across this 1,700 m² area, focusing on coverage suited to the seating, musical warmth and discreet integration with the structure and planting.

Clustered placement on the terrace structure

Black eMOTUS5OD and eAMBIT106 transducers were coordinated with the dark structure and installed at around 2.30 metres. Position and aiming direct coverage toward the seating while keeping the equipment visually discreet.

A sound source within the planting

Where there was no suitable mounting surface, eRK108 rock transducers were placed among shrubs and roses. Set to 15W, their 8-inch woofer and tweeter reinforce the planted corners and add musical warmth without a separate outdoor subwoofer.

Keep the focus on the seating

The transducers were aimed toward the food-court seating to limit unnecessary energy reaching the glass-lined void. Careful positioning and level adjustment support music playback alongside conversation. This is an approach to reducing unwanted reflections, rather than a claim that all reflections are eliminated.

Different spaces, coordinated control

Ecler eGPA8-150 and Peavey PVi 2000 amplifiers supply the system, with the Ecler DAM 614 handling digital mixing and processing. System settings follow the needs of the indoor food court and outdoor terraces.
