Noman, a large home accessories and furnishings store, presented an architectural challenge to the listening experience. The main hall reached approximately 10 metres, while other areas had ceilings just 3.5 metres high. A single audio approach risked making music sound distant, diffuse and weak beneath the high ceiling, yet overly sharp and direct in the lower areas. Our mission was clear: create a calm, transparent and continuous sonic atmosphere, so visitors would see the change in ceiling height without hearing a change in music quality.

Noman Kish Flagship Store
Our response began with the architecture. In the 10-metre main hall, 40-watt Ecler pendant transducers brought the sound source closer to the listening level, directing acoustic energy precisely toward the retail floor. In the lower areas, positioning and calibration followed the scale of the space. Ceiling-mounted 8- and 10-inch subwoofers added warmth, depth and smooth bass without taking up visual space. A DAM 614 digital mixer and two eight-channel amplifiers managed the system, while an Arylic network player with AirPlay and USB made music playback simple, modern and continuous. The result: a powerful yet discreet system, with sound throughout the store that enhances the shopping experience without overwhelming the interior design.
