Required amplifier power

Estimate power for one transducer from target SPL, listening distance and headroom.

Calculation results

Estimated power with headroom

398.107 W

Estimated power without headroom

100 W
Assumptions and use

The model assumes free-field propagation and sensitivity rated at 1 W / 1 m. The calculated power is not an equipment recommendation. Check transducer power handling, impedance, limiter settings and amplifier ratings separately. Headroom allows for signal peaks.

How to interpret this estimate

Estimate power from sensitivity, listener distance and target level; distinguish impedance loads from 70V and 100V line taps.

This is a preliminary engineering estimate. Confirm manufacturer references, installation conditions and equipment limits before specifying hardware. Coverage diagrams show geometric estimates rather than measured room SPL. Contact AVASH with your plan and inputs to request a project review or a PDF design report.
